Description
The unique structure is located immediately
adjacent to Boston’s Back Bay. The building
features a unique cantilevered gallery space,
which also acts as an overhang for ramped seating
for outdoor exhibitions and program. The facade
is comprised of channel glass, which when illuminated
acts as a large lantern spanning over 14,000
square feet. In addition, the North Gallery
wall is a hybrid insulated suspended glass wall
with a unique fitting pattern and utilizes lenticular
film to create visual interest when viewing
from the interior of the Gallery. Other facade
elements include stainless steel entrances,
aluminum cladding, high span glass curtain wall,
Tauari hardwood soffits, and exterior features. |
